The Race

The point-to-point race traces a scenic 10-kilometer route from the Coralville Dam to College Green Park in Iowa City. Buses are available to transport runners from College Green Park to the start of the race. A post-race party and award ceremony await runners at the finish.

Scholarships

All proceeds from the race go to fund scholarships for high school students in the Iowa City area. Learn more about the work of GICA Student Scholarships and how your participation makes a difference!


The Route

The route leads 10 km across some of the most beautiful parts of rural Iowa and downtown Iowa City. Featuring a hilly profile over a distance of 10 km this route spans 70 hm uphill and 80 hm downhill total.
